Green Delayed Petroleum Coke

Green Coke products with low sulfur content and a calorie value of 7,500 - 8,500 Kcal / Kg.


Green Coke is processed from solid-shaped Carbon compounds using the Delayed Cooking Unit which is able to convert heavy oil (Short Residue) to Green Coke.


Our advantages:

  • High Calorific Value between 7,500 - 8,500 Kcal / Kg, higher than coal which has a Calorific Value between 5,000 - 6,000 Kcal / Kg
  • Easy stockpiling and less pollution
  • Easier Grading process.
  • Lower Ash Content.


Green Coke is widely used as a raw material for the production of Calcined Coke as an alumina decomposition process, while it is also used for the application of fuel for cement plants, metal smelting, power plants, and applications for tin smelting reduction.

Green Coke has heavier fraction compared to fuel oil, therefore, their caloric equivalent/rate is lower than fuel oil, viz around 7.500 – 8.500  K.cal/Kg.  However, Green Cokes in term of calorific value, has higher calorie than coal does, that is only 5000 - 6000 K.cal/Kg. 


Green Coke is distributed in bulk form.  


Special Features 

  1. Having higher calorific value (7.500 - 8.500 K.cal/Kg) compared to coal (5000 - 6000 K.cal/Kg) 
  2. Containing low ash value. 


Application/Benefit  

Green Coke can be applied as following:

  1. Redactor applying in melted tin process. 
  2. Applying as fuel for industries below: 

  • Tin 
  • Cement 
  • Electrical Power Station 
  • Melting Steel process 
  • Applying for aluminum melting process; and 
  • Electrode industry 
  • Basic material in producing calcined coke.
