WSINDO Trading arm focuses mainly on commodities such as Cement, Clinker, Gypsum (Natural & Chemical), Limestone, BF Slag, Pozzolana (Volcanic ash), Stone & Aggregates, Fly Ash, Coal, Fertilizer and iron ore that are essential in supporting global rapid growth.
Cement Clinker comes from the manufacturing of Portland cement, it is produced inside a kiln where a raw mix of limestone and aluminosilicate materials such as clay is heated and then rapidly cooled to produce lumps and pellets of clinker. Clinker can consist of various calcium silicates including Alite and Belite but the main material used to produce clinker is limestone fused with a secondary material containing clay.
Gypsum is a crystallized sulfate mineral used in construction. Commonly identified by its lustrous appearance and translucency, Gypsum is an attractive and useful material.
Limestone is a naturally occurring sedimentary rock composed of mostly calcium carbonate. Formed in clear, shallow and warm waters. This rock is usually the result of an accumulation from coral, algae, and fecal debris. However, it can also be formed through the precipitation of calcium carbonate from lakes or oceans.
Granulated blast furnace slag is a byproduct of the steel industry. It is a latent hydraulic binder that forms calcium silicate hydrates (C-S-H) after contact with water. It is used as a strength-enhancing compound that improves the durability of concrete. It is a component of metallurgic cement (CEM III in the European norm EN 197). It is obtained by rapidly quenching molten slag from the blast furnace with water or steam, which results in the formation of glassy granules.
The most common natural pozzolans used in concrete applications today include calcined clay, calcined shale and metakaolin. Other types of natural pozzolans that are used less in modern applications include volcanic ash, volcanic glass (pumicite and obsidian) and rice husk ash, among others.
Glass and Chemical Silica Sand
Silica sand is a major ingredient in the production of glassmaking—in fact, silica is the primary component in standard glass products ranging from windows to bottles. The purity of the silica sand used plays a role in determining the colour, strength and clarity of the final product.
The most common form of SiO2 is quartz – a chemically inert and relatively hard mineral. SiO2 grades at a 7 out of 10 on Mohs hardness scale, making it ideal for use as filtration media and abrasive blasting sands.
Construction Sand
In order to be considered a silica sand the material must contain at least 95% SiO2 and less than 0.6% iron oxide. If the sand does not meet these criteria, it will qualify as what’s often called ‘regular’ or ‘construction’ sand.
Silica sand (often called industrial sand when used for this purpose) is the main structural component in a number of construction products. Flooring, mortars, cement, roofing shingles, asphalt, and other industrial materials all use silica to improve durability and structural integrity. As silica is resistant to weather, wear and corrosion, it is often used as a caulk or sealant.
Cement is a commonly used substance in construction and acts as a binder that hardens when combined with water to become a paste known as concrete. This material is usually the foundation of construction projects and is one of the most-consumed resources on the planet.
Coal is one of the world’s most important source of energy. It has been the world’s fastest growing energy source and has remained the favorable fuel for many countries in recent years, in fact, faster than gas, oil, nuclear, hydro and renewable energies. In response to an increasing demand for coal around the world, especially in Indonesia itself.
We have set high standards for everyone we deal with, ensuring the proper quality gets delivered to each customer, on time. Our ultimate goal is to always provide our customers and suppliers with excellence in service as well as honest marketing information on a continuous basis.
Coal is primarily used as a solid fuel to produce electricity and heat through combustion. It varies to different specifications according to its contents. Our product’s range are between low GCV coal (3,400 kcal/kg) to high GCV coal (6,600 kcal/kg).
With the support of a solid team, we as a trusted and official import, export company.
